'Batman 3' May Film in New Orleans

The Big Easy will be added to the locations of Batman 3’s production, along with its main location of Chicago of course. In fact half of the film might be shot in the Cajun city if the deal is in fact set in place with the city. The relationship between Warner Bros. and New Orleans is in pretty good standing so there shouldn’t be a problem with finalizing a location deal. The studio’s estimated $200 million budget for the film can be spent in full on the production and not so much on tax, luckily, because of the current tax incentives that the city can offer (so I’m expecting a flashier bat suit and a more bat mobile looking bat vehicle, just saying). Official production is set to begin between March and April of 2011.
