'Black Star Warrior' Trailer Found!!!

By Dashiel Kulander on 08.09.2010

The following trailer is empirical evidence that indeed there was a blaxploitation version of Star Wars put into production, though perhaps never fully realized. While it has been rumored for nearly 30 years now, we can finally sit back and appreciate the awesomeness that was Black Star Warrior.

It is currently believed that the film was shot sometime during the three years between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes back. Which begs the question, is this the true inspiration for the character of Lando Calrissian?

Other obvious questions also remain. Did they shoot the entire film? Why was it never released? Did George Lucas try and erase it’s existence? With more Black Star Warrior material turning up everyday, the chances of an audience finally being able to enjoy this kick-ass and original rendition of one of the world’s most cherished odysseys is growing greater by the day.

Did we just report this as if it were a real thing? And this SPONSOR MESSAGE that plays automatically, and can't be muted or paused is really starting to piss me off...
