"Hiding in Time" Picked Up By Warner Bros.

For the uninitiated, "Hiding in Time" is about the Witness Protection Program relocating people not just throughout the country, but throughout time.  The program is successful for a while, but eventually a group of assassins begins locating and killing these witnesses, whereupon the story's everyman protagonist is thrust into the role of time-traveling hero.  It's a story that makes a lot of sense for a big screen adaptation, plain and simple, and Warner Brothers is certainly looking to capitalize on the recent success of comic book adaptations as well as just the general popularity of the concept of time travel.  Add in a few assassins and a regular Joe lead and they likely figure they've got a sleeper hit on their hands.  Hopefully they don't screw it up.
