Hugo Weaving: Red Skull?

FilmDrunk is reporting that Hugo Weaving of “Matrix” and “The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Desert” fame is a near lock for Captain America’s arch nemesis the Red Skull. According to The Hollywood Reporter: So, we got that going for us, which is nice. Weaving is an excellent actor who can look creepy as all get out when needed; although for this movie he’ll have to be more like “V” and carry all of his gravitas in his voice and mannerisms considering he’ll have little actual face time.

Being a flawed prototype, it is an easy explanation to why the Skull was disfigured. In the US, Erskine would create a final Super-Soldier in the form of Steve Rogers, who would be the public display; all the while having an African American Super-Soldier doing all of the dirty work, and that Soldier boys and girls ought to be named Nick Fury. Now if only they could find the proper Captain America . . . 11 Comments
