A gift from on High

The oh-so anticipated THOR movie, in my opinion, had one glaring weakness. Said weakness has since removed himself. Stuart Townsend, just as he did with LORD OF THE RINGS, has dropped out of a major movie the day before shooting was set to begin. Townsend was originally set to play Aragorn and quit to be in LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN, only to be thankfully replaced by Viggo the day before shooting was to start. Now he has dropped out of THOR to be replaced with a no name, who no doubt will be a better choice.
Townsend, who I recognize as the inspiration for this recent run of pussified vampires we’ve been seeing lately, played Lestat in QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. A movie so weak it makes TWILIGHT look masculine. Well now we will instead be introduced to Joshua Dallas, one of the rare Americans in this movie. Dallas thus far has a career highlighted with 2 episodes of DR. WHO and a bunch of movies I’ve never seen.
So, here is your new Fandral. Enjoy. 7 Comments
