Anne Hathaway in Spider-Man 4?

So the NEWEST rumor is Anne Hathaway in Spidey 4. As? You guessed it, the Black Cat. Not gonna lie, I’d much prefer this to the Julia Stiles rumor reported earlier.  Anne Hathaway is awesome and sexy and was really good in GET SMART.

I think she is by far the strongest actress in terms of ability out of the women we’ve heard rumored thus far. Rachel McAdams, Romola Garai, and Julia Stiles have all been rumored in the last week, but for me Hathaway is the one.

Just in case anyone unfamiliar with the character which we’ve been writing about all week, here’s the need to know…

Felicia Hardy was born in Queens, New York. Her father Walter was a world-renowned cat burglar who, before his arrest, encouraged her to never settle for second best. She first appeared in AMAZING SPIDERMAN #194 in 1979. She eventually fell in love with Spiderman and over the years has built a relationship with him similar to that of Catwoman and Batman. They did in fact date shortly and still work together from time to time.
