Bendis and Quesada Talk Thor...Via Twitter

Marvel powerhouses Joe Quesada and Brian Michael Bendis have discussed the progress of the now-in-progress Thor via…

Twitter (and by extension, Facebook).

Quesada tweeted (that’s now a word, apparently):

"I could listen to Branagh talk about
Thor all day long. Cast is in place, sets are being built and
screenplay is brilliant. Marveldom rules!
"

Bendis followed suit, tweeting:

"Broadcasting live from Marvel West.
Thor movie meeting with Ken Branagh was over the top amazing. Visited
the sets! I was in Odin’s chamber!"

"U should get in line for the Thor movie today. Just saying."

So, from those extremely informative (sarcasm) statements, we can deduce that the entire cast has been selected, the sets are in progress, and these two are undeniably excited about the progress of the film thus far.

According to Superherohype.com, the film is set for a May 20, 2010 release and will star:

Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony
Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan
Skarsgard, Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson and Tadanobu Asano.

Can't wait for this. I really really really hope they do this right. Exactly how big is this Chris Hemsworth guy, I took a look at his IMDB page but it didn't note his size or anything. On the plus side he was already in Star Trek. I'm absolutely in love with Natalie Portman so that's awesome news. Looks like a solid cast too.
