Brubaker May Help Cap Get to Big Screen

Following the success of the Iron Man movie, Marvel will most likely choose to follow a similar (and intelligent) formula by bringing in those who know the characters best for the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America.

Ed Brubaker, writer of Captain America (who, by the way, is responsible for the release today of Captain America: Reborn which will resurrect Steve Rogers as Cap), will most likely be brought in and will consult with the screenwriters, directors, etc., to make a more coherent and satisfying Captain America experience.

In an interview with MTV News, Brubaker stated that, "I think the talk has been that I will be part of that brain trust, along with Bendis and a few other people."

The First Avenger: Captain America is slated for a 2011 release.

Is Marvel making the right decision in bringing in Brubaker? Sound off below!

If it is going to follow the same formula as Iron Man then they are half way there to making a really good movie. The rest is up to the cast. What was the poster of Captain America that was posted a month ago getting at? It had a July 5 date on it. Has there been any news on that at all?

Marvel is doing a great job of bringing in people that truly know the character into the process of bringing them to the screen, that can only be good, unlike that piece of shit wolverine movie
