Dark Knight Blade Mashup

Ah mash-ups… Sometimes the idea behind them gets lost in the execution and you’re left with a brief but charming or tragic spot of entertainment. Then you get something like The Dark Knight/Blade suggestion. I haven’t quite enjoyed a mash-up since the Star Wars/Magnum P.I. that sprung up not too long ago. But this has a touch of Kris Kirstofferson so it trumps Tom Selleck’s ‘stache.

Excellent work on this, great spots of dialogue juxtaposed with clever editing almost makes the concept feel like a seamless piece. Even though its a cobbling of two existing films this fan made trailer eludes to more plot and cohesion than something like, oh I don’t know, Michael Bay’s Transformers. Much more entertaining as well. Sure it doesn’t have Megan Fox, but if your only reason for seeing a film is because of a hot chick I suggest you save yourself $9.00 and just watch free pr0n on the interwebs. There’s no beating around the bush with plots because the bush beating is the plot and you won’t feel like a small piece of your childhood’s been raped in the face. Anyway, nice job on this one! CONVOY!!!!!
