Guy Ritchie to direct Sgt. Rock???

When asked in an interview on AICN about properties he has stuck by for years, producer Joel Silver blurted out something interesting when DC Comics' Sgt. Rock was mentioned:

"I’m going to make that. I’m going to make that very soon. With Guy Ritchie, I think."

Really?!

"I hope so."

Something about the way Silver tosses it out there leaves me doubtful, but I will admit that Guy Ritchie (Snatch.) could do a hell of a job with a World War II setting, the Sergeant, and all of Easy Company.
