Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned for SEGA.

I thought it was probably time to actually introduce myself after having penned two articles, they call me Brodie. Some of you no doubt are thinking “Who’s this new jackass?” after reading my opinions on Dexter: All American Hero and the new Trek plot details. Well I’m what passes for law, order and the….wait a minute wrong monologue. Ahem, I’m just another self confessed nerd, with a love of movies, books, comics, anime, manga, TV, video games. I’ve got an MA in Modern History so I can fill you with gems like ‘Renaissance France was the golden age of French aristocratic bastards’ (A quote actually used in a graduate essay!), I’m like a multimedia black hole. I simply devour random information and as such usually have an opinion on anything, add to that I’ll give most things ago, except Big Brother. Orwell’s spinning in his grave over that one I’m sure.

When asked what I could bring to this website, my response was…..come on feel the tension building folks, it’s good for you…..ME!!! Nah just messing with ya, simply a different point of view. I’ll cover the gamut of random topics, I’m a late 80s kid at heart so you’re going to get anything from Transformers and G.I. Joe news through to my opinions on the rumoured Akira reboot. Also how cool would a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover be, reminds me of my old Marvel UK comics. I’m a massive movie fan who can’t wait for the new hobbit to be released, Del Toro is a genius. The Devil’s Backbone and Pan’s Labyrinth are truly amazing films. I’m a huge Kevin Smith fan, not in the I track every blog post he’s ever done kinda way but more in the I saw Mallrats fell in love with jokes about superheroes johnsons and thought ‘I could learn to love this guy’, and not in that way. Get your minds out of the gutters, unless of course I point them there first. If someone tells me a movies going to be great, I’ll give it a go. If they tell me it’s going to be terrible, I’ll probably still give it a go, probably waiting on the DVD mind you. Something I wish I’d done with the new Underworld. I read insatiably, and one of my favourite authors is Terry Pratchett, though I also love Brett Easton Ellis and Don Puzo.

So as you can see it’s a pretty eclectic selection of everything. I started writing this and actually found it tougher to tell you about me than it was to write those articles I’ve already done. Guess trying to pin myself down is kinda hard but you’ve got some ideas now. I also love a good tag line/maxim/quote, this article started with one of my favourites and so I’ll leave you with one I’ve lived my life by.
