Iron Man 2 Set PicsIt’s not the box office net, or the endless marketing opportunities that have been exploited, or the way it’s ingratiated itself into the general pop culture that signify Iron Man’s success. It’s the fact that comic book websites everywhere are wetting themselves in excitement over pictures like this. Including your beloved Bamkapow, dear reader.
It’s a picture of a deserted lot. Some paparazzi somewhere has just made his rent because of a picture of an empty set. We are so fixated on this film, so enraptured with a story about a man in a flying robot suit, that we are, in essence, stalking him by proxy. The general populace may have become fixated on the whole comic book movie thing as of late, but I want you to remember, some of us are old school nerds. Some of us have been following Iron Man since our earliest days, back when he was on Fox kids wearing a form-fitting suit of armor that he stored in his briefcase! Some of us would actually realize what one was talking about if one mentioned the Silver Centurion. I’m glad the rest of you have jumped on the bandwagon, but let’s remember who the OG nerds are, here, and give a little respect. I’m just sayin’. 0 CommentsYou must be a Member to post comment Click here to Login New User? Signup |
