McConaughey As Cap??? Nahhhh...

Rumor has it Matthew McConaughey is one of the top choices to play Captain America in Marvel's upcoming movie of the same name. Due out in 2011, the movie would follow the exploits of the red, white, and blue hero.

But McConaughey? Several websites agree this is an odd choice.

I second the notion. While he has a decent look for the part, the question is, can he act?

MovieBlend.com concurs, stating, "Though he's made a lot of movies, there's still been no real evidence that Matthew can really act. Aside from his questionable acting ability, there's also his public persona as a rarely bathed, pot smoking slacker.
