New 'Wolverine' Game Looks Amazing

I have no hope for the new "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie. I think it's going to be a silly, middling, melodramatic mess that doesn't do justice to one of best the comic book characters of all time. It looks overly complicated, stuffed with too many characters, and seems to have a well-trod, overused plot. In a word: disappointing.

Then there's the new Wolverine video game, ostensibly based on the movie (though unlike most movie tie-in games, it doesn't follow the movie's storyline for the majority of the game; apparently the publishers had started on a Wolverine-specific game before the movie was even greenlit), and it looks ASTOUNDING.

Seriously, unless the controls are terrible, I don't know how they can eff this game up. You're Wolverine, you're a complete and total badass, and at one point in the game, you're…you…oh, just check out the trailer below!:

Now THAT is how it's done, bub.

(sorry, I couldn't resist)
