Nicolas Cage in Green Hornet?

Nicolas Cage is in talks to play the villain in The Green Hornet. The Columbia Pictures based film already is set to star Seth Rogen, but recently lost Stephen Chow as Kato, and is looking to replace him. Additionally, Cameron Diaz is in talks to tackle the role of reporter and love interest to Rogen’s Hornet. The film, according to Variety is still on target for a fall start date.

Personally, if Cage hams it up like he did in the Grindhouse trailer as "Fu Manchu", I think it could work well.

Ok. Maybe not.
Still, Cage could pull it off if the script is solid and the director keeps him in check. What do you all think?

		2009-07-21 11:07:50 Stranger Danger They haven't even locked down a style for the film - they keep bouncing back and forth between straight action and comic-y. If they do comic-y, then sure, Cage. Otherwise - no. Also, Tony Jaa for Kato, please. Or Ernie Reyes, Jr. (And yes, I'm going to post this on every Green Hornet talkback until someone is cast.)
