Obama Reveals Secret Identity?

Rumors abound that a certain presidential hopeful may show up at the San Diego Comic Con. Allegedly, members of Barack Obama's camp contacted organizers of the show to inquire about the Senator making an appearance. That would be a most insane and decidedly cool move for Obama…no one has ever reached out to the comic book community in such a way before…embracing the "geek" vote would be a stellar move.

Thus far, unfortunately, these rumors have been denied by the Comic-Con's Marketing Director, stating that the organizers of the show had not been contacted by Obama's campaign…and, of course, Obama's camp is unavailable for comment.

I have my own theories, however.

1. Obama is actually a superhero himself, and is looking for the Mayor from Ex Machina to have a conversation about policies and balancing office with fighting supervillains.

2. Obama's secretly planning to attend Comic-Con to pick the brains of all the attendees. The reason? Finding real world applications for super powers and creating his own superteam: The B.O. Team. Ok, the name needs work…

3. Barack Obama is really…Baraka from the Mortal Kombat series! Look at his name!! The Outworlders have invaded, and are infiltrating the political realm so that the takeover of Earth realm will be so much simpler! Shao Kahn is a wily one, he is…

Anyway, if Obama were to make it to the San Diego Comic-Con, all sorts of new attention would fall on the comic world…and there's nothing wrong with that.
