AFRO SAMURAI back on Spike TV this month

Spike TV has unveiled its upcoming programming slate. Upcoming is the return of Takashi Okazaki sword swinging  hero in 'Afro Samurai: Resurrection'.

The show will enjoy a two-hour movie premiere on Sunday, January 25 (10:00 PM - Midnight, ET/PT); Encore airings of the movie will air in four half-hour installments beginning Friday, January 30(1:30 - 2:00 AM, ET/PT).

Samuel L. Jackson returns in "Afro Samurai: Resurrection," a two-hour all new original movie sequel to Spike TV's critically-acclaimed, funktastic animated series with music provided by The RZA. When his father's body is stolen from its grave, Afro is forced to pick up his sword and wreak bloody vengeance against an army of deadly foes led by Sio, a beautiful and sadistic mastermind played by Lucy Liu.
