New 'Terminator: Salvation' Pictures Continue to Look Surprisingly Good

The devil’s hands have been busy. IESB received a slew of new publicity photos and a new poster set from the upcoming ‘Terminator: Salvation’ courtesy of Yahoo! Movies today.

Every time they put out something new, the movie gets a little bit closer to accomplishing the impossible. Against all odds, it looks good. If anything, they should play down the photos of McG calling the shots on the set, because anytime I’m reminded that he’s directing, the skeptic in me comes out.

I’m a big fan of the almost steampunk design of the T-600, but the T-700 to me looks too close to the Arnold version (T-800) to really call it a good redesign. And is it just me, or does that aquatic-based Terminator that the Connors are staring down look exactly like Scorponok’s tail? And is this the first time we’re seeing Bryce Dallas Howard with a Connor, Jr. baby bump? As much as I hate to say it, May 21 can’t come soon enough.
