Green Hornet's First Bit Of Awesomeness

By Zombiezeus on 07.24.2009

Seth "I looked better fat" Rogen is at Comic-Con, touting the upcoming, still Kato-less "Green Hornet" film, somehow slated for release for next summer even though one of the two main characters remains uncast. What HASN’T remained uncast is the role of the Green Hornet and Kato’s sweet-ass ride, the ass-kicking, gun-popping, missle-launching muscle car lovingly named "The Black Beauty".

And in my humble opinion, it is indeed a beauty. Who WOULDN’T want to drive that car? Check out the video unveiling thanks to MTV’s Splashpage:

And there’s awesome, shiny pics from Superherohype as well:

Come on, man. That is NICE. The green headlights? The chain guns? The green-tipped missles? The fact that it’s the same car from the series but updated? That’s the kind of attention to detail we like to see, folks.

I’m not MUCH more excited for this movie, but I am a little more excited for it. Howsabout y’all?

I remain excited. I like Seth Rogan and he seems to have a passion for the project, so I'm not gonna doing any bashing what-so-ever until I see a trailer. And again I say: Get Tony Jaa.

I'm with Dr. Kronner still completely excited! ...and Tony Jaa would be an awesome Kato. No question... but I would personally like to see Chia Hui Liu in the role. I know everyone would think he might be a bit "old" for the role... but who says Kato must be young? ...And he would fit well as the driver/valet/assistant ala "ALFRED" style! Plus we all know he looks great in a mask! Thanks to the Crazy 88!

They are close but thu ones that I'm talking about are 5 spoke design. Yeah you are right, an old Lincoln model would have been cool but thu car still looks amazing.
