Oh, for sure, it's not just me. Christopher Brown, Chris Mireles, and Jordan Gonzales all have stories on the front page right now. I'm just in a situation where I'm at my desk from 10-8 everyday and we're really slow at work.

on behalf of the site as a writer myself, i would like to personally thank the doc for being able to keep some news stories up on the site while things get put back on track. Unfortunately most of us are unable to do postings full time and only get to slide a few in every once in a while, but here's hoping we can get some more news coming at you quicker than ever. Hey Boss, I just cover the stories assigned to me. Obviously I don't like having to stoop to the depths where we currently find ourselves, citing Twitter and what not. But it's not my site, I just work here. So until our esteemed Editor gets back on top of things (or hands me some control) this is what we're stuck with. Sorry Gang.

Like Brian said, I pass on what I get assigned. I don't really have a huge problem with it though. The site has a very specific theme and it's hard to consistently have hard hitting news stories. We're going to have to post some less important stuff every now and then.
Brian does produce a bulk of articles though, I won't deny that. But like Scoot said, some of us are busy a lot. We try though!

Heres an idea, and its free. How about instead of just posting about comic book movies....wait for it....you post about comic BOOKS. Ill let that sink in. I hardly, if ever see on here reports on any comic books. Its not hard either, theres alot of cool stuff going on.

why don't you guys do opinion articles every now and then. start a few rage threads (Superman vs...). Or do a photoshop contest or fanart. Or what Sykishi said. I ain't complainin' though.

At lesat the site is still up and running, I remember a few years back when B!K! was part of the Fat Penguin media group along with several other sites that were all dropped. After the split, the site had no updates for around five months. Even though it's been a slow period here, at least it's something.

Twitter is getting a lot of use from many sites these days though since so many people making the entertainment we like use it to get news out. The site has seemed a little slow to me, but that happens when life gets in the way of people's hobbies/passions.

Not sure whose call this would be, but, if people are complaining about content on the site, why not open it up for them to contribute? That will either help get more good stuff on the site or silence those who act like this kind of thing is easy =P

Look gang, it's not a shortage of stories so much as time. The site is run by one guy, our editor. He has at least 3 of my stories right now that he just hasn't had time to post them yet. Once his schedule clears up some we'll get back to normal.

Yeah, I offered up my time for this site and got brushed aside. I have even sent a few awesome new feeds straight to Frank and got nothing. I don't think he cares about this site. Otherwise he would give some power to Brian or someone else. He would rather see it crumble than share power. Dr.Doom in the flesh.

Dr. Kronner is correct. I know for a fact this is not the only site the editor runs...there are a few sites that require his attention, and the folks that do contribute on a regular basis all do it out of sheer love for the content, not for pay...hell, I contribute WHILE I'm supposed to be working, when I can. I also know that the editor is consistently looking for ways to improve the site, so if there's a momentary lull, it's because there are other factors. This site will NOT crumble, as the e
