Production Stills From Paul W.S. Anderson's 'Three Musketeers'

These production stills were recently snapped on location in Bamberg, Germany on the set of Paul W.S. Anderson’s new film, Three Musketeers. You can scope out Mads Mikkelsen who’ll be portraying Rochefort, Logan Lerman who’ll play D’Artagnan and the man himself, Anderson, below. 

With a list of less than exceptional Musketeer movie predecessors, we don’t have very high hopes for this swash-buckling adventure tale. Not to mention the fact that it is being directed by the Newcastle native, who’s track record of late is nothing to brag about.

However it’s one redeeming quality may come in the acting prowess of Christoph Waltz, who will most likely exhibit another scene after scene-stealing performance. The Three Musketeers will also be starring Ray Stevenson, Matthew Macfadyen, Luke Evans, Milla Jovovich, Juno Temple, James Corden and Orlando Bloom. Yes, another film with Bloom in tights, swinging a puny french sword around. Apparently the only role that he has any business playing. 

Like it or not, the film is being shot in 3D.

Slated for a April 15, 2011 release date.
