Ramis Talks "Ghostbusters 3"--VIDEO INTERVIEW!!

Slashfilm turned up the below video from makingof.com, which is an over-six-minute long interview of Harold "Egon Spengler" Ramis talking about "Ghostbusters 3". And the other two Ghostbusters movies as well.

Now, I’m not just thrilled with this interview because "Ghostbusters" is my favorite comedy film of all time (and among my top three favorite movies ever). I’m also thrilled with it because it’s a frank, intimate talk with a Hollywood comedy legend, and his thoughts as an older Hollywood mover-and-shaker on some of his previous work. He even talks smack about "Spider-Man 3" and "Indy 4", trailers for "G.I. Joe", "Transformers 2", AND compares "Ghostbusters 3" to Batman!! (geekgasm)

I’m not even going to sum up everything he says about the movie’s status because I want you to watch it. I WILL point out how funny it is that he mishears "Ecto-1 Hummer" as "Ecto-1 Hover". That shit’s gold.

Great interview with a great talent. This might be sad, but that interview totally made my day. Anyone have old copies of SFX magazine they want to scan and share with us? Used to love that magazine but it was always so damn expensive…

		2009-07-09 14:07:20 MUNKRAWK In the game you have confinement beams n stuff. They have 4 different settings each come with a different colour. One beam looks like the regular particles but is black with a purple aura. When you switch to it, The proton pack expands with these blue fork things and the 4 red circles on the pack turn purple. I can't recall the names but there is a particle shotgun effect that is red and a slime attachment to neutralize black slime. Its pretty cool because when your pack overheats then the whole

		2009-07-09 14:07:55 Zombiezeus COOL. This game sounds like effing perfect. Anything that takes what I used to love when I was 9 and perfects it makes me unbelievably happy. Seriously, I find it hard to believe. But there we are.

		2009-07-09 14:07:26 MUNKRAWK Yeah its fun, it basically feels like your fishing. You have the ghost in your beam and you have to pull him to the left or right depending on where your trap is. Makes a big arc and you can slam them. Basically if they are being tough you can send a jolt through the beam and whips them across the area. Its fun because if there is a big ass desk in your way you can pick it up and fling it using your beam. I give it a 9/10

		2009-07-09 19:07:42 MUNKRAWK I just hope they don't use the same template again. Both movies start with the Ghostbusters as nobodies. They get big they go to jail/hospital a big crisis happens. Giant something walking through the streets. The fight the bad guy by a group of onlookers and end up covered in marshmallow/slime. haha its the exact same movie.
