Super Human Resources

Super Human Resources is the story of Tim, a young man starting work as a temp at Super Crises International. SCI is responsible for dispatching super heroes to deal with the world's crises, and also handles all of the heroes' human resource needs. Tim doesn't know this as he applies for the job, and within minutes of entering the building learns that he's in for WAY more than he bargained for.

This is definitely a book to check out. The art is well done, being comical but still having a slick and unique appearance, reminiscent of Cerebus or Bone, and would lend itself well to an animated series down the linebut what's really great about Super Human Resources is the sense of humor - well timed, irreverent…even the parodies of characters we're all familiar with are looked at with fresh eyes (I personally love Wombat Man…frickin' hilarious).

Seriously, this is one of those rare comedy books that is money well spent. I'll be adding it to my monthly reads, and I highly recommend you check it out.
