The DVD sets to end all DVD sets.

You’ve got the touch!  You’ve got the power, YEAH!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, click back to wherever you came from.  I’m sure there’s some Twilight movie stills out there calling your name.  The rest of you, the time is now.  What looks to be the ultimate expression of man/machine love is hitting earth.  

Look, he’s reaching out to you and me.  Optimus, I love you.  

Ummm, anyway.  So yeah, so we all love Transformers.  We all love the 80’s, and we all wish we were seven years old again.  Snapping back to reality we have a few things to placate our nostalgic lust.  And they are some doozies.  

Shout Factory has been tasked with bringing back some of our favorite cartoons and eliciting the uber-geek in us all.  Coming this summer, in sync with the movies, are two DVD sets representing the entirety of the Transformers and G.I. Joe cartoons.  Well not all of them, but let’s face it, the ones that our childhoods encapsulate.  

The Transformers set will cover 16 discs that include 98 episodes of G! goodness.  And look, the box is the Matrix of Leadership, so come on, I need one.

The G.I. Joe set will cover 17 discs with 95 episodes.  I don’t have a picture of this one so you’ll have to settle for a sexy Baroness.

Yes, this is the time to be a geek.  They are finding every way possible to yank our money from our hands, but at the moment it seems they are doing so with things that I actually want.
