Toys in Bondage - Kinky New Fetish or Experiment in Art?

Most people don’t realize that toys are more than just collectibles.  They are often an art form in themselves.  Sometimes they go beyond that and become art itself.  One such artist to present a new variation on figures as an art medium is Olan Ventura.  He has taken a number of various DC Direct and Marvel Legends figures and forced them into bondage and torture.  He has taken the result of these actions and turned them into unique oil paintings. 

Here we have a rare sight.  Batman trapped and caught by some nefarious foe.  Granted all he’ll need is a ball point pen and he will be free of the situation lickety split. 

Spider-man seems caught in a web not of his design.  This one specifically conjures up images of Carnage with his red and crazy tendrils.

Yeahhh……that’s probably not going to hold.
