Up, Up, and Away!!!

The last son of a dying planet, sent to earth to fight for truth, justice and… ehh… wait, no that’s not right.

The life of a mild-mannered student was changed forever when he was bitten by… no… not quite.

Murdered and sent to hell, he strikes a deal and returns to… uh… Oh to hell with it.

Born on an ordinary planet in an ordinary way, a child was raised under the watchful eyes of the dick and fart joke, Kevin Smith and the Comic Book. This child grew to become SupaScoot!!!

Now that my origin story is out of the way, we can get this gravy train rolling. I’m not here to tell you I know more than you or that I love comic books more than you… but I do. I can list off superhero love interests, chronologically, faster than a lonely librarian flipping through personal ads. I can leap tall boxes of individually sealed, CGC graded masterpieces in at least two or three bounds. I can out movie-marathon any contender, provided the movie is of B or even C caliber, in which a great deal of superhero-esque movies reside in. Toxic Avenger, anyone? And to top it off, I can type at super speed to bring my opinions to the world that so desperately needs them. Whether they like it or not.

When I noticed that Bam!Kapow!, a site I frequented often to get my daily dose of comic news, was looking for writers, I grabbed the opportunity to share with my fellow nerdians. To be a part of the movement most relevant in today’s society: Internet discussion about various superhero and villain related topics. I will argue anyone on the life changing topics of our generation. Like who shot first, Han or Greedo? Will In Blackest Night outsell Dark Reign? How is it that Watchmen continue to kick so much ass, day in and day out?

To sum up the proof of my outrageous geekhood, I have one thing to say. I donned a Scarlet Spider outfit to the premiere of Spider-man 3, because that’s how I roll. Don’t act like your not impressed. Did I mention I have a mustache?
