I'm fine without Supes or Bats, I mean the JL started without them, it wont hurt the team to not have these two huge characters to take away from the rest of the cast

they have already tried to make a couple right? oh yeah one was a tv movie, the other barely started production, i knew someone who worked on set dressing...anyway i dont see how they cannot include supes and bats, it could be done without making them a focal point

Without a doubt, another season of Batman Beyond. As far as the JL movie, I'd prefer it without Supes or Bats. Superman's too powerful to be in an ensemble piece unless everyone else is on his level - and if the movie is going to be "origin" stories for three of them, they won't be. Batman has the same problem, though more to do with fan perspective than the character. The thing is, Bats and Supes don't need the Justice League, but the members of the League might neeed each other...

good point Jorn, but if anything, using that as a plot device has to be an ace up the sleeve. Alot of JLA plots have supes and bats MIA. To have the group who rely on certain members suddenly have to do without them could work...but a JLA without them completly, to the point of where they might not even get a mention or a cameo? thats just too far right?
