What the hell, Wonder Woman?

This is probably the closest we'll ever come to seeing Wonder Woman do a table dance.

In a span of less than two weeks, producer Joel Silver has given conflicting reports to multiple websites about the Wonder Woman film's status.

April 18 - Silver told IESB that the film is in production and that writers Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland are at work on a script that involves Paradise Island and Wonder Woman's background.

April 21 - Sci Fi Wire quotes the producer's description of the project's status as "tabled for a while now", adding "It's sitting there, and when I figure out a way to do it, I'll do it".

April 30 -  At the Speed Racer junket, Silver tells IGN "I'm not sure if it will happen; I don't know yet. I mean I have the rights to it for a while, but I just hope that one day I can find a way to make it".  The article describes Silver as pessimistic about the project.

It could be that Silver's vague comments are simply being interpreted incorrectly or perhaps his level of frustration regarding the project colors his remarks to the press.  There is an obvious method that could get a straight answer out of Joel Silver: Lasso of Truth.
